Has anyone made a diy rolling basket to break up soil. We grow small fields of organic rye and wheat in northern NY. Most of the machinery i have is modified or custom built. I would like to build a piece of equipment to pull behind my cultivators just before the planter. Have most of the scrap steel and don't want to spend a lot for parts. I have an aerator that would make a good start but am not sure if straight blades on the aerator will work . Any suggestions would be appreciated , this piece of machinery will be pulled with our smallest tractor a 20 hp Farm Pro.
