That is an intersting book, Rolf. I will have to find a copy for myself! An interesting side note - my future father-in-law worked for Hawkbilt when they were evaluating and selling the ground-rolling round baler. He told me there was dissent within the company at the time whether to pursue the ground-roll machine or go the direction of Gary Vermeer. Vermeer is still in business but Hawkbilt is not... I make quite a few round bales here in Northeast Iowa and it is obvious that the artist of that painting never made round bales on hills!!
