Bundy, Going rate for a 9500 is $230_hr or $14_ac for the first tonne then $0.50_bag thereafter. You can email me - rocka@dragnet.com.au - and I can send you some information on contract harvesting costs.
Bundy, that rate you talk about would be fair,we were paying about that a few yrs ago for a 9500 in similar conditions .9500 at that rate works out cheaper than 9610(30 ft front)charged out at $265_sep hrs.It also worked out cheaper than Case 1688(30 ft)at $230_rotor hr.
Bundy, $220_sep hour would be around the money for a 9500. By the acre i would say $12 would be about standard rates for sth qld up to a tonne. Good luck with harvest, we'll kick off this coming week with chickpeas. Crops are coming in late around here this year, won't finish until mid November.
