I also read that article recently.  It was well written with a non-biased author and did a good job of giving us a clear view of each combine.  The one thing that I did not understand was why CAT was involved in a discussion about rotary combines.  Every other machine discussed (except deere, which was in there because they'll have rotary threshing in a matter of days) was rotary threshing, and then they throw in CAT which is only separation.  I guess when I hear someone say "rotary combine" I think of threshing only.  Maybe that's just my own narrow-mindedness.
