Tom, I hope harvest goes well for you. It looks like you may get some dry harvesting weather next week. Got a friend of mine this week at the air show in Oshkosh. Thought about going...maybe next year. last year I was through your area about this time of year. Those oats sure look nice. Question, what do you use the rye forIJ I'm sure you feed the oats and the barley. That isn't malting barley, is itIJ

Tom, started harvesting oats with the M2 on Thursday, should finish tomorrow. When started they tested 14-14.5%, today 11%. Test weight of 34 lbs. I agree the straw is tough for some reason and now the humidity is back, too. Have you had much rainIJ less than 1" since 20th of June here in G0d's country...don't know if there will be corn to combine!

Malting Barley...I had a hunch that might be the reason for the jolliness!
