If case IH changed bearing suppliers, they might also have changed the mounting flange_block to match the grease groove_hole in the new bearing. Have the parts guy check it out. I ran into the same problem with my GT grain dryer. I had to replace a bottom auger bearing and the new bearing had the lube hole on the opposite side. I was able to cobble it in there by installing the bearing in there upside down. after the harvest rush I will check with the dealer to see if the bearing block needs to be changed to correctly install this bearing. FWIW I have seen jobber bearings with lube hole_groove on either side and even one with dual lube grooves_holes to work either way.
