Do you know how to start a Pontiac G6 without a key? We have an old one I want to work on, but the keys have gone missing over time and I don't want to have to replace the fob.
Do you have the time and tools to pull the steering wheel? If so, swap out the lock cylinder with a new one from the parts store then if you have a good battery and starter, crank it up. Lots of videos on youtube showing how to pull the wheel and swap out the lock cylinder. Once you get the wheel and the anti-theft plate out, one screw/bolt and you can slide the cylinder out.
