I would just trade the combine for a gleaner, easier than the gear puller on the knuckles. Seriously, that's a tough one to figure not being familiar with the IH variable speed system, you may just need to give it a try. Sounds like some good corn though.

Agco offers speed up sprockets for the hugger head.good luck! hyper

Case-IH does not have a variable speed on the feeder shaft. One speed like it or not you just change sprocket combo's on the headers.
