I don't know about sorgum but wheat won't be a problem. If you were doing wet corn it would be a problem because the upper presure would cause the corn to mush up.

Thank You.....I was beginning to wonder if anyone had an answer for this. Wheat is measured 60 lbs per bushel and milo is 56 lbs per bushel. I used the same seed size on the dial for the grain loss monitor for both crops so I'm pretty much under the impression now from what you've told me that if I can do wheat without a bubble up auger then I should be able to get away with it on sorghum as well. This is of course if I understand on drycrop. Years when cutting milo at 18 and 20 percent moisture when it just won't dry I wonder if I can still pull this stunt offIJ
