The 9500 will outperform your l3, hands down, in ANY crop! I made the move from an l3 to a 9600, but I tried out a 9500 before that and noted a remarkable difference in capacity. One feature I miss is the ease of serviceability on the Gleaner; - they were remarkably easy to work on, and moreso than the Deere. You won't regret going for the "big engine" on the Deere; - it's well worth the extra cost.

My brother has a 9600 and I can see that they are harder to work on. Where I live Agco parts are two days away if the dealer doesn't have them in stock (90 miles to the next closost dealer),JD parts are next day delivery and 5 dealers within 70 miles, which is another reason to go "Green". Thanks for the help!
