Combines Problems with 98 R72 radiator

Did you check the style of radiator that you haveIJ They replaced ours after harvest because they made a change in it. Don't just beleive in the serial number, ours was suppose to have the correct one in it according to the serial number but it didn't. It worked fine in corn and beans, but there is alot of difference in cutting wheat when it is 100 degrees. Hope this helps

Tim, Check the post from last December on rotary screens and radiators. There is some stuff there that will really help keep a-c condesor and radiator clean. Also prevents rotary screen from stalling in straw and chaff storm. Maybe you should check with Gleaner to see if they have anything coming for that first. Dan

Yeah, there is a "cool kit" and some rad. changes. Contact your dealer and they can call service. To my knowledge some combines have this symptom; others not but anyway they have a fix that works in the event of overheating.
