Fact. I changed the governor on my 89' R60 from an RQV to an RSV. It made an unbelievable difference. Before the governor % was about 6-7%, now it is set to 1.5% and the tourque backup is set to come in immediately. We never hear the beeper anymore and if we hit a wad the machine just grunts, puff of black smoke and keeps on going. It doesn't allow us to go much faster but we can keep a steadier pace. We did this mod 4 yrs ago and it is money well spent. Good luck!!! !!!
