in our territory, scratching the head is about as profitable as harvesting our soybeans. One farmer came in, sat down on a stool, lowered his head and stated he planted his wheat early last fall, it froze, planted corn in late march, it froze, planted it again it was killed by drought, his soybeans planted after wheat died in the drought, had no hay crop, had to sell his cows. He said that is 6 crops lost in one year. He just got up and left........ didn't leave us feeln up and at 'em either. Oh well , there is always next year.!
