Combines Unload Auger On F 2

You can run the auger a lITTlE bit back from fully extended to gain a few precious inches in height, but be really careful. There is no adjustment for this though as far as I know. Once you find a comfortable spot, you might could weld a tab onto the swivel to act as a stop. Hey, here's another brilliant idea I just had - put a smaller tire on the right side of the combine. The smaller the tire, the more height you gain! Just joking of course! Tom l.

I purchased a F-2 which the previous owner had put a u shaped piece of strap around the end of the unloader tilt auger where it hooks to the chain around the unloading pivot. Its about 2-3 inches long and keeps the auger from settling all the way down. It keeps the end up about 8-12" more.

Gee!! I was just going to get the patend on that idea (;o). I live in West Virgnia, and all the machines carry less air in one side. Ya just keep going around the hill and it works great!!! Keith
