Hi. I just learned about the closure of several meat processing plants due to COVID19, and how that’s forcing some farms to consider depopulation/euthanasia. I’ll be honest. I’m not in the agriculture sector so I may be underestimating the costs and regulation involved, but I do know a few animal people with resources, including myself, and are willing to purchase some of the animals. So if anyone here is thinking about euthanizing their animals or knows of anyone who does, please let me know. Also, if there’s a more effective way to reach struggling farmers and ranchers, please do let me know as well. Thank you all and stay safe!
