I also have a 1996 2188 combine it has 4340 engine hours and 3030 rotor. Full afs,chopper,bin ext,new tires,always shedded $46000... And I also have a 1998 2388 4740 engine and 3500 rotor. Yield and Moisture,chopper,2spd hydro,bin ext,new tires. $54000, no rear wheel assit, $62000 with 1 year old Gilcrest rear wheel assist. Were you running that 643 on that 4400 gasserIJ I am looking for a 643 but I think the distance to Illinois is a little far. Could you drop that in an envelope to me. :)

I havent run the combine at all my self. I purchased the combine from a rancher and all he harvested was grass seed. As far as the corn head goes I am meeting a guy in Iowa with a combine trailer so I sure could get it as far as Iowa for you. I did run the corn head for about 300 acres this past harvest worked really well... If interested let me know...

It is a heavier cone and cage or so they say. From what my salesman told me was when they went to the 2388s they put the heavier cone and cage in them as a basic.
