    Your good/bad in 2020?

I take stock of what I do every other time, and it forms the basis of my annual assessment towards the end of the year. Doing this helps me evaluate whether a new venture is worth pursuing to the end!

    Mixing spices

I mix ground garlic, ginger, lemons, and honey, but I am glad to read about the other available options in this thread. The only way to discover something is to try it out, and so I will try using some turmeric next time.

    Rock picker

I once rented a stone picker and found it very useful for landscaping. Its main advantage is that it prevents damage to other farm machineries like combines, mowers, and hay balers.

Tips for picking up machinery at auctions

Being at the right place at the same time helps, plus setting a limit to how much you're willing to spend. I remember a friend who was lucky to get an auction item at a much lesser value. It was about being at the right place at the right time and having no one to outbid them.

    Great stinkbug invasion

The thing with stink bugs is that they release a foul odor when disturbed. I would suggest finding a way to gather the bugs then dump the contents in a larger bag that you then seal tightly and wait for garbage day.

    Turkey conclusion

When starting a new venture, miscalculations do happen, and afterward, everything becomes a lesson. I also have never raised turkeys, but my choice would be the heritage breed because of the natural pace of growth.

    Automatic milking machines?

Nothing comes close to them in terms of efficiency. However, milking machines require thorough cleaning before and post milking. In the absence of this, bacteria particles could gather in the tubes and contaminate the fresh milk. The cleaning steps are not complicated, after all.

    Inventory management

I find myself in the same situation countless times, and it can be tiring when you have to go over someone else's work. At what point should you delegate? In my experience, this applies to the worker who works with minimal or nil supervision.

    City To Country

There is more urban-to-rural migration, understandably so, and even though it may not be permanent, more folks will prefer the countryside life until the effects of this pandemic have become bearable. Right now, I prefer to be in and out of the city in intervals.
