Definitely have decided that no matter what, when we replace our White 9700, it will either be a XP or maybe even the 9000 series depending on if crop prices get out of the basement and stay up for a little while. Sure wouldn't trade our 8560 or 9700 for any other color than MF red!

Thanks Riceman. I've never even seen a field of rice, but from what I gather you rice guys will test out a machine. Tough straw, abrasive crop and mud. Is that correct or am I misunderstandingIJ Thanks for your very informative reply.

You are right on. Sometimes its dry as a bone. Just depends on when it gets drained. One field of ours was muddy. The rest was dry. In fact we were burning and disking right behind the combine. Yes we will put anything to the test here. Tractors, planters, sprayers, cotton pickers, and combines just to name a few. Engineers just think that their design is tough until they test it here. One more thing about rice is the high yeilds. Its pretty common to see 200 bu. per acre.
