The Massey line does threaten the Allis line. I was given the choice red or orange. But it was made clear that red was the brand he stocked and would have the best trade value later on. Here in the south the allis name is fading fast. almost all the old A-C dealers are gone. Massey dealers on every corner--so to speak. Not sure if this is by design or what. I have had a good experience with agco over the years and do not want to change brands. So I guess massey ,allis ,challenger--all the same-- but still Agco. After losing several dealers over the years I'm just looking some stability. The more dealers an area loses the less value a yard full of Agco equipment has --red or orange.
